Get Ready for an Exceptional Fall Season at Olde Cypress
It's been one amazingly warm summer and early fall. No doubt. But a change is on its way. And we are ready. October often means cooler, sunny skies in the 70s and 80s and much, much less rain. Oh, and at Olde Cypress, there is so much to do and so much fun to have as many of our members return for the upcoming fall and winter seasons. Let's get right into it!
1. 'Golftoberfest' Olde Cypress Style
"Golftoberfest" is held on October 22 – hurray! Members can't get enough as Golftoberfest is a lively 18-hole golf mixer that combines the love of golf with the festive spirit of Oktoberfest with pretzels, German beers, bratwurst, and sauerkraut to follow. Our P.B. Dye-designed course is a focal point for a few hours as members test their golf mettle against our vintage layout.
2. Welcome Back Party, Viva Las Vegas
To get the visual idea, consider a dazzling "welcome back" party, Las Vegas style, at the country club, which features high-energy casino games, glitz, glamour, and vibrant entertainment. Guests will enjoy a glamorous night filled with cocktails, dancing, and the thrill of the Las Vegas Strip in an upscale country club setting. Does that help? We sure hope so. This is one we have to keep close to the vest!
3. Opening Golf Week
The opening of our award-winning P. B. Dye golf course this fall is a three-day event consisting of the Ladies 18 Holers (Mardi Gras) Men's Opening Night, Ladies 9 Holers (Come on Barbie). In other words, it's full-on golf time, and our members love it as the temps typically hit perfection, and a great time is to be had by all.
4. NFL Tailgate Golf Mixer
Our NFL tailgate golf mixer tees off with 18 holes of gridiron-inspired golf fun on the P.B. Dye-designed layout. And of course, it features dinner to follow from our amazing food and beverage team! Teams wear their favorite NFL jerseys. After the game, a tailgate-style feast awaits. Bottom line: there's no better way to spend the day if you love golf and football.
5. Thanksgiving at the Club
Prepare your taste buds for a sumptuous Thanksgiving feast. Our talented chefs will craft a delectable spread of traditional Thanksgiving dishes and culinary delight, ensuring a memorable experience for you and your family.
